Good day to all! Please read the article below with regard to how attendance will be checked during the YMSAT week. Thank you!
The set of rules for attendance monitoring for the YMSAT week, from January 24, 2012 – January 27, 2012 is given below.
1. Each student will be given an attendance monitoring card (AMC). 2. Each student is required to attend the named activities. However, attendance to workshop, film showing, exhibits, and demonstration depends on the choice of the student.
3. For events where attendance is by class, the class monitor will attest for the attendance by putting his initials in the AMC.
4. For the other events (film showing, exhibits, demos, and workshop), authorized students will put a stamp and signature on the AMC.
5. Each student is required to view the exhibits and watch the demos at least once a day.
6. Each student is required to attend at least one workshop (on Thursday, January 26).
7. The AMC will be distributed on Tuesday. The president and monitor of each class will get their AMC from the CST Unit before 8:00 A.M. on Tuesday for orientation, and distribute the cards. (Two people for back-up.)
8. At the end of each day, the class monitor will give a summary of the attendance, and accomplish the attendance monitoring form of the Registrar’s office.3. I would like to request that the class President and class monitor come to the CST Unit AT 7:00 A.M, BEFORE FLAG Ceremonies, not before 8:00 A.M. Sorry, I should have edited before posting. :)

We all had a long Saturday but I hope you learned insights from the judges and was able to enjoy time spent with your batchmates. · The critique should include an analysis of the scientific aspects of the film, in particular the application of DNA technology and the issue/s tackled.
· The venue (ASTB AVR) has limited seating so you must arrive early. Only the first 80 students will be guaranteed a slot for the film showing (“first come, first served”).

Aside from the Attendance Monitoring Card (AMC) that will be distributed by your class monitor/president on Tuesday, you have to sign the Math Intersection Finals Attendance Sheets thrice. The first one will be posted at the start of the contest (3PM) at the 4th floor audi. The two others will be posted during the contest. Also, bring at least 2 whole IP during the contest because you will be asked to copy and answer the contest questions. This will be submitted to your monitor at 4:30PM right after the contest who will then submit it to me not later than 5PM. This will be recorded as a 20-point seatwork.

On January 26, 2012, we are offerring corsages, boutonnieres and pre-orders for the formal photographs! There will be a table set-up at the back lobby.
The corsages and boutonnieres will be sold at a special inexpensive price (:>). You may get them at the venue on the night itself!
Also, those who are pre-ordering for the formal photographs will be given priority on the night itself.
